I was thinking about that on my way home. How can we put safeguards into our teaching lives so that Sundays during the school year can feel as wonderful as a summer day on the beach? Since I am not able to transport the sun and the sand to all of you, I'm going to suggest the next best thing.
The Pampered Teacher Box. Have you heard of this? I stumbled upon it recently and knew I had to see what it was all about. I am constantly reminding teachers to take care of themselves and what could possibly be more convenient than having self-care delivered to your door? Not much! The service offers different subscription types, but I think I'm going to get myself the quarterly so I have an automatic four boxes delivered to my door step. I can't tell you how happy this little box is going to make me when I'm dressed in four layers in the dead of winter.
So, the obvious question is - what's in it and is it worth my money? I have to tell you - this box is PACKED with goodies. You get so much bang for your buck. This particular box came with an adorable toiletry purse organizer, fun floral printed washi tape with binder clips for decorating (and tips for using the washi tape!), Elysee Enviro-Shield Tinted Veil from Elysee Cosmetics, Sweet Orange Essential Oil Lip Balm from Only NatCheryl, Silver Triple Beaded Earrings, and a sample of Arganesse Hair Therapy.
I thought about individually reviewing all of the items, but the truth is, we all have different tastes, so I don't feel like that would be an acceptable use of your time. Plus, every box you get is going to have different items in it. (This is the "End of School/Summer" Box.) I can tell you that the items inside were easily worth triple what I paid for the box (and yes, I paid for my own box) and I felt so excited when I saw my box waiting for me on my dining room table. (Fiance was kind enough to bring it in for me.) With all of the subscription services out there to choose from, I have to say that this box included the most things I would actually use in my daily life. The lip balm and enviro-shield are easy summer essentials. The earrings are cute, light, and will go with any summer ensemble. I can only imagine what's in the "Back to School" box and beyond. Subscription goodies based on where I'm at in the school year? Genius.
I truly believe if getting goodies in the mail excites you, this subscription service will help to get you through your school year. Order it now, while you're relaxed, so that when you get your boxes throughout the year you will remember a quieter, simpler time. Then you can Self-Care Sunday it up with all of your new products and go thank that Snarky girl for reminding you to set yourself up for success with all of this built-in TLC.
Seriously, people.., I opened the box to an inspirational quote. I'm not sure how much better it can get.

Disclaimer: This is not a paid ad. I bought my own box. I love the concept and I think you all should go order it, so in mid-March when you are not feeling life a magic box will appear on your doorstep and make you feel like the sun is just around the corner. Treat yo' self.
